Hyperactive and attention-deficit children have more impulsive aggression

Children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) show more impulsive aggressive behaviour related to self-control problems and depressive symptoms, reveals a study released today by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP). The study – which is part of a research project called M2Child – analysed 72 children between the ages of 6 and 10 living in Portugal, 38 of whom had ADHD and 34 had typical development.
